Story behind Dino + Bug

While carrying my son, Micah, I made a triceratops to symbolize Micah's strength. I was drawn to the idea of a triceratops because of their notorious skulls - something my son would be born without. After losing Micah at 5 days old, we dared to hope for another child. We found out we were pregnant and lost our son, Monty, at 15 weeks gestation in a missed miscarriage. Just as Micah was a triceraotops, who barrelled his way in and fought for every moment, Monty was our little moth, who fluttered in an out with barely a whisper. Soon after losing Monty, I began to reach out to my fellow loss moms and offer to make them a stuffed animal to honor their child, to see if it would bring them even a moment of comfort as it does me. My gift was received with such positivity that I wanted to offer it to other bereaved parents, if they would like.
