Transparency Statement

In an effort to be transparent regarding donations and purchases, Dino + Bug offers the following statements:

- All direct donations to Dino + Bug will be allocated towards materials needed to create stuffed animals or another type of handmade crochet item dependent on the bereaved parents needs and requests. At the end of the fiscal year, if there is a surplus of funds, Candice will donate a portion to Transitions Kids (https://www.transitionslifecare.org/patients/pediatric/) and will retain a fixed amount for future costs in the next year for bereaved parent gifts only. 

- Any requests for individuals outside of the description of a bereaved parent will be considered however costs accrued for these items will not be paid for by donations to Dino + Bug. Payment will be the responsibility of the person requesting it, or will be a direct donation from Candice at Dino + Bug - No donated funds will be used for these items. 

- Any purchase through "Gift a Stuffed Animal" will strictly be allocated to the recipient specified. Any monetary amount paid that exceeds what is needed for the stuffed animal will be allocated to donated funds for stuffed animals for bereaved parents. 

- Any profit from any other purchase (commissions, Fall Decor, Rainbow Baby Items, Home Decor) will be used at the discretion of Candice at Dino + Bug. This could include but not limited to time spent on creating the purchased item, tools needed for handmade items, supplies needed for business.
